Chicken in a Suit is an editorial publication covering money, career, and side hustles for young professionals. We write the kind of content we wish existed when we were figuring this stuff out: specific, current, and free of motivational filler.
Our editorial process
Each article is researched, written, and reviewed by our editorial team. We use AI as a research and drafting assistant where it speeds up the work, but every published piece goes through human review for accuracy, voice, and editorial judgment.
Numbers are sourced from primary documents (filings, government data, original research) when possible. Where we cite secondary sources, we link them. We update articles as conditions change and we mark the update date at the top.
Who writes here
Our senior writer is Margot Sterling — ex-corporate, recovering MBA, now writing about money and careers. Editorial oversight, fact-checking, and final review go through her byline.
We also publish a satirical opinion column under the byline Mr. Chicken's Take — short sarcastic riffs on the week's career and money news.
